Selin left the field after 19 minutes because of a nasty blow to the shin. His replacement was E. Basabeitia. After 20 minutes, vicangoy's A. Parigiani made his way through the middle and nonchalantly placed the ball out of the keeper's reach, putting the visitors up 0 - 1. F. Nazir's lightning pace was too much for S. Idghdour who could only look on as the vicangoy player blasted one home. 0 - 2. vicangoy were determined to attack in the middle, even their wing attacks ended up centrally. After 27 minutes, an incisive pass through the middle gave E. Basabeitia a chance to increase the lead for vicangoy, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 0 - 3. At this point, it was obvious that the players of vicangoy lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. An amazing free kick flew past the home keeper 41 minutes into the match, putting vicangoy ahead 0 - 4. F. Nazir was the scorer. The teams went for the halftime break at 0 - 4. vicangoy enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 62 percent of possession.

With 59 minutes played, a quick exchange of passes on the left wing freed Y. Nitsche of vicangoy to slip through the defence and score another goal for the visitors. That made the score 0 - 5. The referee showed vicangoy's N. Lau the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. vicangoy had a good opportunity to attack on the wing, but remembered their instructions to go for middle attacks. The goal to make it 0 - 6 was scored by F. Nazir after 66 minutes, following an opportunistic counterattack down the middle by vicangoy. At that, F. Nazir was noted down for a hat trick! E. Basabeitia was uncomfortable with the soggy pitch as he couldn't move the ball around with his usual grace. Central attacks were the recipe of the day for vicangoy, as they moved the ball from the wings to the middle with startling regularity. vicangoy had to make a substitution after 77 minutes. R. Herbert limped off the field and was replaced by J. Alamu. It was obvious that team vicangoy had instructions to attack in the middle instead of on the wings. With 79 minutes played, E. Basabeitia nearly put the visitors another one up as he broke through in the middle and fired from just outside the box, but his shot passed just over the bar. S. Balaz didn't let the weather get him down and made some great moves on the pitch in spite of the rain. After 83 minutes raimon's J. Murtró had to be carried off on a stretcher in agony. A. Zulaika came in to replace him. vicangoy claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 63 percent.
