The players of Marí now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle. M. Ghemiş of Marí received a yellow card after 32 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. After 36 minutes, a couple of quick and successful challenges followed by a shot from just outside the penalty area by N. Massant might have resulted in another goal for Marí. However, F. Botoş made a spectacular save. D. Noya behaved like an inexperienced youth player after 37 minutes as he gave the ball away to R. Momediano. Lucky for him though, there was no goal. anticeltista's C. Mejía was shown a yellow card after 38 minutes for slicing down an opponent. 3 - 0 was the score after the first half. Possession in this half belonged to Marí, who controlled the ball 61 percent of the time.

Despite his frustration resulting in the smashing of a few teacups, the coach of Marí was able to get his message across, and raised Marí's organisation to solid. When M. Ghemiş made yet another studs-first tackle after 53 minutes, the referee was obliged to book the Marí player for the second time, sending him off the pitch. 54 minutes into the game, Marí seemed to suffer a certain amount of confusion and they fell to a inadequate level of organisation. With 78 minutes gone, Marí had a free kick in a decent position. Despite this being a great chance for a shot, they tried a cheeky move intended to bypass the defence. However, D. Noya did not manage to connect with it cleanly and the ball went out. Marí were determined to attack in the middle, even their wing attacks ended up centrally. Things were going to get worse for the visitors. C. Iturris squirmed through their central defence after 81 minutes, increasing the lead to 4 - 0. Central attacks were the recipe of the day for Marí, as they moved the ball from the wings to the middle with startling regularity. 82 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as F. Cava broke through, making the score 5 - 0 for Marí. A speedy charge from the left side of the field increased the lead of Marí to 6 - 0 as A. Gjika finished it off competently, firing in from an acute angle. 84 minutes into the game, Marí had difficulty finding their positions and their organisation dropped to inadequate. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Marí, with 65 percent of the ball.

C. Iturris performed admirably for Marí. However, A. Gjika made a disastrous appearance. The most dominating anticeltista player was without a doubt E. Albuixech. T. Cela was a disappointment, however. The match ends 6 - 0.
