Farina saw his fine effort strike the top of the bar following some good work up the middle by his teammates after 40 minutes. Halftime score was 2 - 0. Meyba claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 61 percent.

F. Sevilla was having a great game - if anything the pouring rain seemed to be spurring him on! A. do Bolo should probably have put his team up another goal after 52 minutes, but some great goalkeeping by X. Pérez Mazo kept the visitors in the game. 66 minutes into the game Meyba managed a counterattack, but A. Gorostazu took a soft shot from the left flank that was easy prey for the alert keeper. Meyba solidified their lead at the 79 minute mark, as R. Endara dribbled the ball through the opposing central defence and scored to make it 3 - 0. 82 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as A. do Bolo broke through, making the score 4 - 0 for Meyba. Confident in their lead, Meyba's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. Possession in this half belonged to Meyba, who controlled the ball 67 percent of the time.

The most dominating Meyba player was without a doubt J. Farina. However, J. Rodà made a disastrous appearance. C. Friaxe performed admirably for ..43... E. Echenique turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 4 - 0.
