demonios's M. San Pelayo's long shot really ought to have found the net 13 minutes into the match, but it fell just wide of the target. 0 - 1 was the score with 20 minutes played, after E. Monfragüe cut through the central defence and chipped home a goal for Atletic. Atletic increased their lead after 29 minutes when E. Monfragüe broke through on the right, upping the score to 0 - 2, much to the home crowd's dismay. J. Estébanez Cabos of demonios seemed to be floating in the air as he elegantly headed in to make the score 1 - 2 after a corner kick that was nicely executed by 潘. 汉超 (Hanchao). Atletic increased the lead to 1 - 3 as R. Astor scored from the penalty spot, putting the ball in near the top left corner. The home keeper was stunned 38 minutes into the match when he misjudged the free kick by R. Astor and dived in the wrong direction. The visitors increased the lead to 1 - 4. By now, the players in Atletic felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward. The referee showed Atletic's E. Monfragüe the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. 1 - 4 was the halftime score. Atletic claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 62 percent.

R. Astor received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 59 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 1 - 5. The Atletic fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. By then R. Astor had scored three goals - a hat trick! After 64 minutes, Atletic's E. Monfragüe burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 1 - 6. At that, E. Monfragüe was noted down for a hat trick! Some things can only be learned through experience, and N. Escorsell should take his lesson to heart after nearly gifting Atletic a goal with 74 minutes of the match played. 79 minutes into the game, Atletic were awarded a penalty and R. Astor was able to increase the visitors' lead to 1 - 7 rolling the ball in by the right post. After 81 minutes, demonios's E. Tornero fell awkwardly, but was determined to stay in the match. That's the spirit! After 82 minutes, an incisive pass through the middle gave M. Ortiz Aspe a chance to increase the lead for Atletic, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 1 - 8. Possession in this half belonged to Atletic, who controlled the ball 63 percent of the time.

The most dominating demonios player was without a doubt J. Estébanez Cabos. A. Puntí turned in a dismal performance, however. Most important Atletic player was I. Maragoto. On the other hand, R. Sánchez Patierna's play was disheartening. The match ends 1 - 8.
