A scorching day at El Infierno Blaugrana, where 14909 spectators were in place for today's match. Thomas Feliciani was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Laurids Gam and Henk Oosthout. A 3-4-3 alignment was the formation of choice for MLL. The wings were the focus of most of MLL's attacks today. MLL took the lead 13 minutes into the game by 1 - 0, as S. Olafsen elegantly received a long range pass through the middle, finishing off with a half-volley shot just below the bar. After 20 minutes, a long pass from MLL's M. del Llano caught the defence out of position. F. Conceição collected the ball, and with the goal at his mercy calmly rolled the ball just inside the post. 2 - 0. A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in MLL's A. Svensson increasing the lead to 3 - 0. 35 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as A. Svensson broke through, making the score 4 - 0 for MLL. It was obvious that MLL had instructions to attack on the wings instead of in the middle. MLL put themselves up 5 - 0 when F. Conceição broke through on the right, leaving the entire defence trailing in his wake. At this point, it was obvious that the players of MLL lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. The referee showed MLL's M. del Llano the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. MLL managed to extend their lead to 6 - 0 when M. Di Stefano cut in neatly from the left side and struck a fine shot past the away team's goalkeeper. Halftime score was 6 - 0. MLL enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 75 percent of possession.

Several players seemed a little dazed by the warm weather, and were repeatedly tricked by the clever and agile P. Ornosa. Attacking on the wings was the choice for MLL, and they were successfully passing the ball from the middle to the wings to attack. After 67 minutes, the away team failed to deal with a good exchange of passes on the right, and D. Diniz Borges gave the MLL supporters even more to cheer about when he increased the lead to 7 - 0. A free kick just outside of the visitors' penalty area after 71 minutes could have resulted in another goal, but P. Gil got a hand out and tipped the ball over the bar. Things were deteriorating for the away team as MLL scored another to make it 8 - 0 after a left side attack resulted in a goal for A. Ambrósio after 73 minutes. MLL were determined to attack on the wing and their central attempts were constantly abandoned in favour of the wings. MLL's M. del Llano increased the lead to 9 - 0, after he saw his shot go between the legs of the advancing goalkeeper following some good play down the right wing after 74 minutes. The MLL free kick 79 minutes into the match seemed wasted, as the shot was both short and off target. But was this actually a plan? The ball landed at the feet of A. Svensson, who was completely unmarked in the box. That's 10 - 0! That made three goals for A. Svensson and he was marked down for the hat trick. MLL's A. Svensson got himself booked for a foul. A loud groan was heard from the fans of FIERAS, as V. Sacarés left the pitch in too much pain to finish the match. C. Dolete took his place on the field. Possession in this half belonged to MLL, who controlled the ball 78 percent of the time.

MLL's best player was D. Diniz Borges. However, S. Bystrzycki made a disastrous appearance. The most dominating FIERAS player was without a doubt C. Dolete. P. Ornosa was a disappointment, however. The match ends 10 - 0.
