Clouds darkened the skies at
U.F.BENIMODO Arena as 6809 spectators turned up for the match.
Johan Lassalle was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Klas Fogelwald and
Ştefan Muşa.
A 4-4-2 alignment was the formation of choice for U.F.BENIMODO.
They fielded: Queipo de Llano - Galloz, Cenarruza, Gamoia, Estornell - Mar Bravo, Quijano, Espilla, Vallejo - 子康 (Zikang), Burgo.
Wrath had chosen a strategic 3-5-2 formation.
Starters: Torrecillas - Andreu, Cabaspre, Martín Alonso - Rohrauer, Passanti, Honze, Fufezan, Driesen - Lukashuk, Ebert.
Wrath mostly ignored the flanks in favour of their ability to attack in the middle.
Wrath had a good opportunity to attack on the wing, but remembered their instructions to go for middle attacks.
0 - 1 was the score with 2 minutes played, after
S. Martín Alonso cut through the central defence and chipped home a goal for Wrath.
4 minutes into the game, Wrath seemed to suffer a certain amount of confusion and they fell to a
passable level of organisation.
The referee showed U.F.BENIMODO's
A. Galloz the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge.
With 22 minutes played, Wrath put themselves up 0 - 2 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. The scorer was
B. Ebert.
Confident in their lead, Wrath's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it.
U.F.BENIMODO's
C. Mar Bravo showed off his trademark ability to do the unexpected with a tricky pass after 31 minutes. Unfortunately,
M. Vallejo was startled by the play and wasn't able to control the finish.
The referee signalled a penalty 36 minutes into the game following an offence which looked like it was outside the box.
I. Andreu knocked it home to make the score 0 - 3.
37 minutes in, Wrath appeared unsure on how to play and their organisation was only
passable.
Central attacks were the recipe of the day for Wrath, as they moved the ball from the wings to the middle with startling regularity.

B. Ebert took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 40 minutes into the match. 0 - 4 for Wrath.
41 minutes into the game, Wrath seemed a little tentative in their play as their organization fell to
inadequate.
0 - 4 was the score after the first half.
Wrath had most of the ball, with 86 percent of possession.
The Wrath players spent the break getting a rerun of the team's tactical organisation and regained a
solid organisation when the game started again.
With 54 minutes played, seemingly due to lack of experience,
M. Passanti needlessly tripped an opponent just outside the penalty area, but the free kick that followed didn't succeed.
B. Ebert increased the visitors' lead by putting a volley away after a pass from the right. 0 - 5.
By then
B. Ebert had scored three goals - a hat trick!
68 minutes into the match, the visitors put themselves ahead 0 - 6 as
I. Andreu finished off an attack from the left with a spectacular scissors kick.
The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave
S. Lukashuk from Wrath a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 69 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient!
Due to a severely mistimed tackle,
M. Vallejo of U.F.BENIMODO spent some time on the grass writhing in agony before he could get up and continue the game.
After 81 minutes, an incisive pass through the middle gave
P. Cabaspre a chance to increase the lead for Wrath, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 0 - 7.
It was obvious that team Wrath had instructions to attack in the middle instead of on the wings.
After 83 minutes, Wrath's
H. Driesen burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 0 - 8.
Wrath were determined to attack in the middle, even their wing attacks ended up centrally.
B. Ebert received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 85 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 0 - 9. The Wrath fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early.
Wrath enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 91 percent of possession.
U.F.BENIMODO's best player was
P. Burgo.
F. Quijano on the other hand, had a terrible day.
Wrath's top performer was clearly
M. Passanti.
P. Cabaspre was a disappointment, however.
