It was an exceptionally sunny day for the crowd of 4620 that came out to Calavera CF Arena. Vaclavs Kerns was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Ulf Strömland and Koray Tuğbay. Calavera had chosen a strategic 4-4-2 formation. The following players took the field: Văleanu - Ligorri, Gligore, Trujillo, Revón - Abolafio Martínez, Spínola, Torroba, Troja - Ebiaga, Corpancho.

Alrevés tactics involved an interesting 4-4-2 combination. Lineup: Koronkiewicz - Pels, Beneyto, Heintze, Feres - Gerchkovich, Baldon, Jarva, Dourado - Niculescu, De Ceglie.

0 - 1 was the score with 4 minutes played, after B. Niculescu cut through the central defence and chipped home a goal for Alrevés. Alrevés came close to extending their lead as B. Niculescu delivered a low effort on goal from the right after 19 minutes, but the angle was too narrow and the shot went harmlessly into the side netting. With 24 minutes played, Alrevés's well-worked indirect free kick caused havoc in the penalty area, and when the ball eventually fell to M. De Ceglie he gleefully slotted the ball home to make it 0 - 2. Having been awarded a free kick in an awkward position after 26 minutes, Alrevés did not go for a shot but instead fired the ball hard into the 6 yard box. After a brief tussle with his marker, E. Beneyto was able to power the ball past the keeper to make the score 0 - 3. Halftime score was 0 - 3. Neither team were able to dominate possession this half.

B. Niculescu knocked one home from a counterattack down the right wing, making the score 0 - 4 after 55 minutes. Confident in their lead, Alrevés's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. Alrevés's R. Jarva made it through the home team's defence on the right hand side 63 minutes into the match. After rounding the keeper, he only had to place the ball in the unguarded goal when a defender slid in and cleared the ball off the line. Usually a powerful player on the field, R. Jarva looked kind of pale and tired under the hot sun. With 82 minutes played, Alrevés put themselves up 0 - 5 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. The scorer was B. Niculescu. By then B. Niculescu had scored three goals - a hat trick! Possession of the ball saw an equal split between the teams during the forty-five minutes.

M. Corpancho performed admirably for Calavera. A. Văleanu turned in a dismal performance, however. Alrevés's best player was M. De Ceglie. On the other hand, R. Jarva's play was disheartening. The match ends 0 - 5.
