Making his way up the middle 7 minutes into the match, G. Arroia almost managed to squeeze a goal past the visitors' keeper, but the alert C. Becheanu blocked it to keep the score level. R. Yanez, who often relies on his speed, had a rotten day on the drenched grass. The home side put themselves ahead 1 - 0 after 26 minutes courtesy of a breakthrough from J. Cifuentes, who scored with a stunning volley following a cross from the right wing. With 31 minutes played, G. Magrì of gpbp fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving. A speedy charge from the left side of the field increased the lead of jabalquinto to 2 - 0 as 叶. 智荣 (Zhirong) finished it off competently, firing in from an acute angle. A counterattack by jabalquinto after 36 minutes could have resulted in a goal, but O. Iramain, coming in on the left, couldn't get the shot off. A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in jabalquinto's J. Katalinkorena increasing the lead to 3 - 0. 3 - 0 was the halftime score. jabalquinto enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 67 percent of possession.

E. Velázquez could've grabbed a goal for gpbp 51 minutes in when he got a pass from the left putting him free of the home side's defence, but he was unable to take advantage of the situation. jabalquinto solidified their lead at the 57 minute mark, as O. Iramain dribbled the ball through the opposing central defence and scored to make it 4 - 0. By now, the players in jabalquinto felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward. Thighs bulging, M. Zubiri charged past the weaker players, seemingly oblivious to the rain. gpbp's G. Magrì was dominating his wing and kept sending fine balls into the opposition's box - P. Mercé managed to volley one of them into the net to make it 4 - 1 after 79 minutes. Having been awarded a free kick in an awkward position after 81 minutes, jabalquinto did not go for a shot but instead fired the ball hard into the 6 yard box. After a brief tussle with his marker, J. Katalinkorena was able to power the ball past the keeper to make the score 5 - 1. jabalquinto's G. Arroia saw his fine effort strike the top of the bar following some good work up the middle by his teammates after 83 minutes. Cheers filled the stadium as J. Cifuentes broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the ball to increase the lead to 6 - 1 to jabalquinto. After 86 minutes, J. Katalinkorena put jabalquinto ahead 7 - 1 when he rose to head in a cross from the right wing. At that, J. Katalinkorena was noted down for a hat trick! Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by jabalquinto, with 76 percent of the ball.

The most dominating jabalquinto player was without a doubt J. Katalinkorena. On the other hand, P. Jartos's play was disheartening. gpbp's best player was E. Velázquez. C. Becheanu turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 7 - 1.
