Parapanov struck home the penalty, as cool as anything. No matter how hard he tried, Ó. Ríos Gómez just couldn't get his shot past the visitors' right side defence after 29 minutes. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave E. Coruxeira from Komando a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 30 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! 0 - 1 was the score after the first half. Neither team were able to dominate possession this half.

Due to some great work on the right wing Komando's I. Spârchez was able to even the score after 77 minutes to make the score 1 - 1. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, S. Lacalle Cuvillo got himself booked. The manager of Komando was not happy. D. Torres of MESSI received a yellow card after 81 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Komando, with 52 percent of the ball.

S. Lacalle Cuvillo performed admirably for Komando. B. Carral was a disappointment, however. Most important MESSI player was Z. Berioucha. On the other hand, C. Iturraspe's play was disheartening. The match ends 1 - 1.
