By now, the players in Parados felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward. A great save by keeper J. Zamudio after 30 minutes kept the visitors in the game after A. Gaya struck from the left with a real cannonball. 2 - 0 was the halftime score. Possession in this half belonged to Parados, who controlled the ball 75 percent of the time.

P. Endemaño could have increased the lead after 53 minutes, but his shot hit the post after a nice combination in the middle of the park. After 63 minutes, a couple of quick and successful challenges followed by a shot from just outside the penalty area by A. Silos might have resulted in another goal for Parados. However, J. Zamudio made a spectacular save. 76 minutes in, Parados's P. Endemaño received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. A. Silos unleashed a swerving effort from the right that the visitors' keeper did well to tip wide. With 82 minutes played, Parados put themselves up 3 - 0 when the visiting defenders lost the ball to R. Aragó, who came up from the left and proceeded to coolly round the keeper and knock the ball home. Parados had most of the ball, with 77 percent of possession.

Parados's best player was S. Zamanillo. I. Yermo turned in a dismal performance, however. F. Meneses performed admirably for WILLHEMP. J. Zamudio was a disappointment, however. The match ends 3 - 0.
