The home crowd was not impressed when K. Lukk came in from the right, shooting hard to score after 68 minutes. Vakaras were now up 1 - 5. Confident in their lead, Vakaras's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. With 72 minutes played, A. Bergen nearly put the visitors another one up as he broke through in the middle and fired from just outside the box, but his shot passed just over the bar. Central attacks were the recipe of the day for Vakaras, as they moved the ball from the wings to the middle with startling regularity. 75 minutes into the match, A. Toliūšis came through the middle and almost added to his team's lead, but the shot went wide. Vakaras claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 62 percent.
