Olchovskis got himself booked. The manager of Dalgiai was not happy. 33 minutes into the game, Dalgiai seemed a little tentative in their play as their organization fell to solid. Central attacks were the recipe of the day for Dalgiai, as they moved the ball from the wings to the middle with startling regularity. After a fine move down the middle L. Žeberskis nearly gave the home side a goal after 35 minutes. However the finishing shot went just wide. M. Schukin's early cross saw the defenders caught out of position and the alert L. Stepavičius was able to pounce and roll the ball past the hapless goalkeeper to score for Dalgiai. 1 - 0. With 38 minutes played, Dalgiai put themselves up 2 - 0 when the visiting defenders lost the ball to K. Salanauskas, who came up from the left and proceeded to coolly round the keeper and knock the ball home. The visitors got one back when L. Orkamaa finished off a pass from the left and scored after 44 minutes. 2 - 1 was the score. Cheers filled the stadium as L. Striokas broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the ball to increase the lead to 3 - 1 to Dalgiai. It was 3 - 1 at the break. Possession in this half belonged to Dalgiai, who controlled the ball 64 percent of the time.

A review of the gameplan helped Dalgiai get back to a solid organisation when the referee blew his whistle again. After 49 minutes, a deliberate handball from Dalgiai's M. Olchovskis was judged to be his second bookable offence, and he was sent off. Dalgiai were determined to attack in the middle, even their wing attacks ended up centrally. J. Padeigis had a fantastic opportunity to put Dalgiai up another goal 55 minutes into the match, but he fired just over the crossbar. 57 minutes into the game, Dalgiai seemed to suffer a certain amount of confusion and they fell to a solid level of organisation. A bit later, gelynas's A. Granger easily reduced the lead to 3 - 2 after a misunderstanding in the home side's central defence. With 65 minutes played, Dalgiai's L. Stepavičius almost extended the lead, but his shot from the left glanced off the top of the bar to fall behind the net. L. Stepavičius of Dalgiai received a yellow card after 66 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. Dalgiai's L. Žeberskis left the field after 80 minutes because of a nasty blow to the shin. His replacement was A. Sartys. After 81 minutes, V. Maračinskas put Dalgiai ahead 4 - 2 when he rose to head in a cross from the right wing. J. Padeigis should probably have put his team up another goal after 85 minutes, but some great goalkeeping by U. Pastanogovas kept the visitors in the game. Dalgiai had a good opportunity to attack on the wing, but remembered their instructions to go for middle attacks. Dalgiai claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 63 percent.

J. Padeigis performed admirably for Dalgiai. G. Šarafudinovas on the other hand, had a terrible day. The most dominating gelynas player was without a doubt U. Pastanogovas. A. Granger turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 4 - 2.
