A brilliantly sunny day had enticed a crowd of 12000 to
lakstingalos Arena.
Jörgen Sidenblad was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Fernando Zammuner and
Izidor Perak.
lakstingalos decided to use a 4-4-2 set up.
The following players had been chosen: Jurasovas - Klikauskas, Vaupelis, Karsakov, Levanavičius - Kitkauskas, Pagalys, Jatkevičius, Acevičius - Kičas, Šibilskis.

After 4 minutes, a mistake by the home side's left defence allowed
F. Sionovas to get through. He outclassed the home side's keeper, adding another goal for the visitors. 0 - 2.
A. Kitkauskas's speed is always a threat when he gets a little room to move, and 16 minutes into the match was no different as he broke free of his man to send a delightful through ball to
V. Šibilskis who knocked it in for lakstingalos. 1 - 2!
After 19 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for
B. Žygis who increased Atlantukas's lead to 1 - 3.
A. Tvaskus of Atlantukas seemed to be floating in the air as he elegantly headed in to make the score 1 - 4 after a corner kick that was nicely executed by
K. Vingėlis.
The home crowd was not impressed when

The home crowd cheered when, after 73 minutes,
K. Vingėlis's charge up the middle resulted in the keeper making one of his best saves of the day.
M. Gricas came close to extending the visitors' lead when he found himself completely unmarked in front of the goal after a pass through the middle. He tried to lift the ball over
T. Jurasovas but overcooked it and hit the bar instead.
