Segala an easy chance to knock it in for 0 - 4. Bratislava pressed their opponents, causing the game to be a bit of a stalemate at times. R. Zelenický had a hard time on the waterlogged pitch - his trademark technique was nowhere in sight today. With 42 minutes played, Bratislava put themselves up 0 - 5 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. The scorer was V. Tluka. After this, you could see that the players of Bratislava were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals. The teams went for the halftime break at 0 - 5. Bratislava enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 84 percent of possession.

S. Kišoň got a fingertip on M. Vyčítal's shot from the left 51 minutes in, and managed to keep the visitors from going up another goal. The visitors' A. Nyitrai took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 64 minutes into the match. 0 - 6 for Bratislava. By then A. Nyitrai had scored three goals - a hat trick! V. Tluka received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 68 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 0 - 7. The Bratislava fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. A. Nyitrai was, after 77 minutes, almost able to extend the visitors' lead with a well placed diving header after the ball had looped into the centre, but the home side's keeper S. Kišoň made the save. Bratislava's ability to press all over the field frequently paid dividends. Bratislava had most of the ball, with 85 percent of possession.

The most dominating stupa player was without a doubt E. Feňo. R. Zelenický on the other hand, had a terrible day. Bratislava's top performer was clearly A. Nyitrai. G. Polgár turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 0 - 7.
