Weather conditions were fairly good for football, and FC Scilib Arena saw a crowd turnout of 56499. Tache Manea was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Hans Dreyer and Oskar Desanghere. A crazy pass by J. Huber towards his own keeper almost caused a goal for Scilib, but A. Wernet didn't get the finish right. Ngan's A. Török managed to lose the defenders as he advanced down the right wing and scored, putting the visitors ahead after 8 minutes. 0 - 1. N. Rob could have put his team up another goal 24 minutes into the game, after a rush down the left, but his closing shot hit the post. The teams went for the halftime break at 0 - 1. Scilib enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 51 percent of possession.

With 59 minutes played, the Scilib coach decided a substitution may help turn the game around. L. Galaz came on, K. Bagoly had to leave the fray. A drive down the left side allowed F. Scigliano to get in close and score another goal for Ngan after 59 minutes, taking the score to 0 - 2. At this point, it was obvious that the players of Ngan lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. After 62 minutes, the defensive line of Ngan created a counterattack through the middle that gave T. Hvalsøe Schou a good look at the goal, but his shot glanced harmlessly off the crossbar. 64 minutes into the match, T. Hvalsøe Schou came through the middle and almost added to his team's lead, but the shot went wide. Scilib's counterattack was impressive and was only stopped by a shocking foul. Somehow, the referee's cards remained in his pocket - a terrible decision! C. Selendy's resulting free kick was easily saved by the keeper. Scilib needed a fresh pair of legs on the field, and after 66 minutes A. Wernet made way for C. Erdős. The home crowd cheered when, after 82 minutes, A. Török's charge up the middle resulted in the keeper making one of his best saves of the day. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Scilib, with 51 percent of the ball.

Most important Scilib player was C. Selendy. L. Galaz turned in a dismal performance, however. N. Rob performed admirably for Ngan. F. Scigliano was a disappointment, however. The match ends 0 - 2.
