Paéz had, completely unprovoked, swept the legs out from under an opponent in front of a linesman, the referee gave the Hanyatt player a red card without batting an eyelid. Hanyatt's R. Vasile refused to leave the field after injuring his achilles tendon after 41 minutes. It was 0 - 1 at the break. Cuppant enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 57 percent of possession.

With 46 minutes played, the Cuppant coach decided a substitution may help turn the game around. M. Samm came on, B. Gulli had to leave the fray. What ever got into V. Tlumak, the crowd mumbled, as he suddenly struck a cross pass through his own defence - ending up right in front of Hanyatt's R. Vasile, who easily put the ball away for 0 - 2 after 55 minutes. The sun seemed to put S. Breton in a great mood, and he showed off his technical skills all match long. After 68 minutes, S. Breton had a good opportunity to reduce the scoreline for Cuppant with a chance created through the middle, but wasn't cool enough. The ball went miles over the bar. Menéndez could have put his team up another goal 87 minutes into the game, after a rush down the left, but his closing shot hit the post. 88 minutes in, Hanyatt's L. Cascino received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. Cuppant had most of the ball, with 58 percent of possession.

Most important Cuppant player was S. Breton. On the other hand, P. Preysing's play was disheartening. Hanyatt's top performer was clearly M. Menéndez. G. Sãvoiu on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 0 - 2.
