Clouds darkened the skies at Ground Fc Arena as 54700 spectators turned up for the match. Cédric Plasse was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Gabi Istrate and Antonio Ballesteros. A 5-3-2 alignment was the formation of choice for Ground. The following players had been chosen: Kádasi - Tarkovács, Ugrai, Martić, Oláh, Szűcs - Papp, Gorják, Dervarics - Csutak, Dancs.

Meggyesi cut through the central defence and chipped home a goal for Attila. 25 minutes into the match, D. Dezamics came through the middle and almost added to his team's lead, but the shot went wide. After 33 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for P. Sánchez who increased Attila's lead to 0 - 2. At this point, it was obvious that the players of Attila lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. As the game started to slip away for Ground, the manager decided to change the tactical approach. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, A. Meggyesi got himself booked. The manager of Attila was not happy. The teams went for the halftime break at 0 - 2. Attila had most of the ball, with 59 percent of possession.

Ground were great at switching from defence to attack, and after 51 minutes, G. Csutak swept through the middle on a counterattack, making the score 1 - 2. An indecisive keeper looked on as a free kick by Attila's G. Schaadt put the visitors up 1 - 3 after 59 minutes. Attila claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 56 percent.

Ground's best player was B. Dancs. B. Martić was a disappointment, however. The most dominating Attila player was without a doubt P. Sánchez. However, P. Pataki made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 1 - 3.
