Frajt was able to even the score after 40 minutes to make the score 1 - 1. 41 minutes had elapsed when a great chance for Stonemine to take the lead after a good cross from the right found J. Horych alone with the keeper, but he chipped it to the wrong side of the post. Halftime score was 1 - 1. Possession in this half belonged to Meccsetnyer, who controlled the ball 52 percent of the time.

Stonemine had a good opportunity to take the lead as D. Zarza came up the left side, but he struck the ball weakly and it went straight into the arms of N. Venyige. With the match clock at 60 minutes, Meccsetnyer modified their style of play a little bit. 70 minutes into the game, Meccsetnyer seemed a little tentative in their play as their organization fell to solid. Meccsetnyer had a good opportunity to attack in the middle, but remembered their instructions to focus on wing attacks instead. Meccsetnyer's J.
