F. Aguado Renedo made a successful breakthrough on the left after 14 minutes and should have levelled the score, but instead he clipped it over the bar.
Some fine movement on the left led to a fotateam goal after 21 minutes, making it 0 - 2.
G. Magyar was noted down as the scorer.

C. Veszelka managed to reduce the lead to 1 - 2.
Blitzers players heard their coach's words ringing in their ears and steered their wing attacks to the middle instead.
The bench was restless, and with 65 minutes passed Blitzers's coach gave
L. Enríquez de Anaya the opportunity the player had been hoping for.
F. Biot reluctantly left the field.
As the captain was no longer on the pitch,
H. Bródy took over the role of being the Blitzers captain.
