Soccer mostly ignored the flanks in favour of their ability to attack in the middle. Aruwian10 demonstrated their creative tactics on the field. The Soccer free kick 10 minutes into the match seemed wasted, as the shot was both short and off target. But was this actually a plan? The ball landed at the feet of Š. Lilis, who was completely unmarked in the box. That's 1 - 0! After 15 minutes, Soccer's J. Gourdon fell awkwardly, but was determined to stay in the match. That's the spirit! It was obvious that team Soccer had instructions to attack in the middle instead of on the wings. Soccer's L. Sodano saw his fine effort strike the top of the bar following some good work up the middle by his teammates after 24 minutes. Aruwian10 almost scored after a swift counterattack 25 minutes into the game, but A. Bale put the shot from the left flank just outside the goal. With 33 minutes played, Soccer's E. Keburys almost extended the lead, but his shot from the left glanced off the top of the bar to fall behind the net. Halftime score was 1 - 0. Soccer claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 60 percent.

R. Ohra-aho made a good effort at breaking through on the right, but the home team's left defence cleared the ball to a corner. After 51 minutes, Soccer sent a free kick in high over the penalty box. In what looked like a well-rehearsed move, the ball was headed backwards and reached H. Hasar, who had plenty of space to place a well aimed shot - 2 - 0. Cheers filled the stadium as V. Marxer broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the ball to increase the lead to 3 - 0 to Soccer. Confident in their lead, Soccer's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. Possession in this half belonged to Soccer, who controlled the ball 65 percent of the time.

L. Sodano performed admirably for Soccer. However, J. Gourdon made a disastrous appearance. The most dominating Aruwian10 player was without a doubt E. Fjæreide. A. Falpalà turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 3 - 0.
