Koryak came close to extending the lead 33 minutes into the game. His shot came in from the right hand side but Á. Tőke managed to save it with an unbelievable reaction stop. Good work by the Ebesi defensive line after 34 minutes produced a good counterattack chance, which cut elegantly down the middle of the pitch and found K. Mesterházy alone in front of the goal, but his shot whistled just wide. Gyertyaláng put in a good effort on the right, but E. Irla saw his volley fly wide of the mark 37 minutes into the game. The referee showed Ebesi's S. Vass the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. Halftime score was 2 - 1. Gyertyaláng had most of the ball, with 66 percent of possession.

Things were deteriorating for the away team as Gyertyaláng scored another to make it 3 - 1 after a left side attack resulted in a goal for P. Delchev after 81 minutes. Gyertyaláng's G. Koryak saw his fine effort strike the top of the bar following some good work up the middle by his teammates after 82 minutes. Gyertyaláng increased the lead as Z. Mistiri struck to make the score 4 - 1 after an attack from the left left him unmarked in front of the keeper. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave E.
