A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in SCTasmania's A. Gyurkovits increasing the lead to 2 - 0. 14 minutes into the game, SCTasmania seemed to suffer a certain amount of confusion and they fell to a passable level of organisation. The sun seemed to put T. Török in a great mood, and he showed off his technical skills all match long. Things were going to get worse for the visitors. V. Estadella squirmed through their central defence after 27 minutes, increasing the lead to 3 - 0. The referee showed Gardencity's G. Dobány the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. After 36 minutes, R. Orem put SCTasmania ahead 4 - 0 when he rose to head in a cross from the right wing. By now, the players in SCTasmania felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward. The bicycle kick from K. Ollé would have been the Goal of the Year for SCTasmania, had it not hit the post. SCTasmania's R. Orem put in a disappointing effort on a penalty after 38 minutes, firing just wide of the goal. After 40 minutes Gardencity's Z. Joób contracted a slight foot injury, but didn't want to leave the game. 4 - 0 was the score after the first half. SCTasmania had most of the ball, with 84 percent of possession.

A review of the gameplan helped SCTasmania get back to a solid organisation when the referee blew his whistle again. SCTasmania solidified their lead at the 57 minute mark, as A. Gyurkovits dribbled the ball through the opposing central defence and scored to make it 5 - 0. V. Komár of SCTasmania was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle. 70 minutes into the match R. Orem put SCTasmania ahead 6 - 0 with a truly marvelous free kick. Having been awarded a free kick in an awkward position after 79 minutes, SCTasmania did not go for a shot but instead fired the ball hard into the 6 yard box. After a brief tussle with his marker, V. Darnyi was able to power the ball past the keeper to make the score 7 - 0. Cheers filled the stadium as G. Gazdag broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the ball to increase the lead to 8 - 0 to SCTasmania. B. Pásztor was called on to replace SCTasmania's A. Gyurkovits after 84 minutes following a nasty collision. V. Komár could have increased the lead after 84 minutes, but his shot hit the post after a nice combination in the middle of the park. 85 minutes in, Gardencity's G. Vidróczki received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. SCTasmania enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 85 percent of possession.

Most important SCTasmania player was G. Gazdag. On the other hand, K. Ollé's play was disheartening. Gardencity's best player was E. Rajk. However, M. Éger made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 8 - 0.
