previous 10/10 next 2/10  Mincseszter 3 - 1 Verhetetlenek (383969670)

12000 spectators arrived at Albert Flórián, where weather conditions were pretty good for football. Fabien Hourcade was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Kristjan Norum and Jari Nembri. Mincseszter had chosen a strategic 4-4-2 formation. Starters: Patak - Váncsa, Éliás, Gulyás, Szécsényi - Babocsay, Bogdán, Kondor, Mogyorós - Eitel, Bakos.

Verhetetlenek tactics involved an interesting 4-4-2 combination. The following players took the field: Illovszky - Ballai, Mogyorós, Szilassy, Vlcskó - Zsilák, Csele, Árgyelán, Bogdán - Éliás, Kocsis.

Against a lesser team, Verhetetlenek could very well have succeeded with their smart indirect free kick routine after 23 minutes. A trio of passes took the ball all the way past the defenders, but by then the intended recipient was already blocked off and the keeper could make a leisurely save. Z. Éliás came close to putting the visiting team one up 26 minutes into the match, following a solo raid down the middle, but G. Patak managed to tip the ball to a corner. Mincseszter had a chance to take the lead after Z. Szécsényi's dazzling drive up the left, but the opportunity fizzled out as his shot went just over the bar after 31 minutes. Coming in from the right, Mincseszter had a good opportunity to convert on a counterattack after 35 minutes, but Z. Eitel's attempt to finish was easily stopped. 37 minutes in, the referee awarded Mincseszter a penalty. K. Váncsa coolly slotted it home for a 1 - 0 lead. 1 - 0 was the halftime score. Verhetetlenek claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 51 percent.

A speedy charge from the left side of the field increased the lead of Mincseszter to 2 - 0 as L. Bakos finished it off competently, firing in from an acute angle. 76 minutes into the game, Verhetetlenek's attack got through on the right, but M. Szilassy couldn't handle the ball and his feeble kick wound up in the keeper's arms. Verhetetlenek's A. Kocsis was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 81 minutes. One of many good crosses from R. Mogyorós on the wing was received and skillfully taken care of by L. Bakos, who scored for Mincseszter. 3 - 0 Verhetetlenek fought on and, after 88 minutes, A. Kocsis was able to reduce the deficit to 3 - 1 after some excellent moves on the right side were finished off with an incredibly clever chip. Verhetetlenek enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 54 percent of possession.

The most dominating Mincseszter player was without a doubt E. Éliás. Z. Eitel was a disappointment, however. Verhetetlenek's best player was C. Csele. B. Illovszky turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 3 - 1.
