Overcast weather free of rain made for a crowd turnout of 27418 at FC Hansi the Man Arena today. Petar Zlatanov was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Protazy Czudak and Oscar Raimundo Pugliese. Hansi had chosen a strategic 5-5-0 formation. A mistake by the home side's central defence after 29 minutes allowed C. Chiliman to score for Middledevils. The scoreboard now read 0 - 1. After 34 minutes, an incisive pass through the middle gave C. Chiliman a chance to increase the lead for Middledevils, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 0 - 2. With 36 minutes played, a quick exchange of passes on the left wing freed F. Haugnes of Middledevils to slip through the defence and score another goal for the visitors. That made the score 0 - 3. After this, you could see that the players of Middledevils were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals. W. Jensen came close to extending the visitors' lead when he found himself completely unmarked in front of the goal after a pass through the middle. He tried to lift the ball over J. Woertman but overcooked it and hit the bar instead. The teams went for the halftime break at 0 - 3. Middledevils enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 94 percent of possession.

C. Chiliman was, after 48 minutes, almost able to extend the visitors' lead with a well placed diving header after the ball had looped into the centre, but the home side's keeper J. Woertman made the save. G. Cipri of Hansi received a yellow card after 51 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. P. Ingesson received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 56 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 0 - 4. The Middledevils fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. Middledevils's R. Omar left the field after 77 minutes because of a nasty blow to the shin. His replacement was A. Datković. J. Chiliman finished off an attack from the left with a spectacular scissors kick. This third goal completed a hattrick for C. Chiliman. Chiliman broke through on the right, upping the score to 0 - 7, much to the home crowd's dismay. Possession in this half belonged to Middledevils, who controlled the ball 96 percent of the time.
