previous 3/10 next 5/10  Nerdeløkka 3 - 0 Afell (384109639)

A brilliantly sunny day had enticed a crowd of 73938 to Bjerkeskaugen. Alfons Asper was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Adrián Hinkó and Hannes Flinkbom. Nerdeløkka tactics involved an interesting 2-5-3 combination. The following players had been chosen: Sciusco - Velicu, Hagen - Aiello, Borderie, Pettersen, Straume, Spenger - Helle, Amnar, Rolandsen.

Afell decided to use a 4-5-1 set up. Starters: Bergerud - Aga, Cerpentier, Vallestad, Ellingsen - Mikalsen, Aulie, Dalby, Enoksen, Guttormsen - Deturres.

The sun seemed to put H. Straume in a great mood, and he showed off his technical skills all match long. After 13 minutes of play, L. Amnar gave the home team a 1 - 0 lead after an attack coming in from the right. Nerdeløkka's P. Velicu increased the lead to 2 - 0, after he saw his shot go between the legs of the advancing goalkeeper following some good play down the right wing after 32 minutes. Afell certainly deserved a goal after some stunning play down the left, but M. Dalby just wasn't able to finish. A scuffle developed as players from both sides clashed following a tussle in the centre of the field 38 minutes into the match. After regaining order and consulting his linesman, the referee called Afell's J. Ellingsen to one side and produced a red card for the player. Due to a severely mistimed tackle, A. Sciusco of Nerdeløkka spent some time on the grass writhing in agony before he could get up and continue the game. Afell breathed new life into the game with an opportunity to reduce the score after 41 minutes, but the home side's defenders cleared the ball on the line, after a long shot coming in from the left rebounded off the crossbar. 2 - 0 was the score after the first half. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Nerdeløkka, with 51 percent of the ball.

O. Vallestad had a lethal looking free kick that grazed the post after 54 minutes. It wasn't a good day at all for H. Mikalsen. His powerful style of play just didn't fit the bill on this warm day. O. Helle increased the lead for Nerdeløkka to 3 - 0, getting a head onto a hooked ball from the right. The ball looked to have taken a deflection on the way in, but he's claiming it! After this, you could see that the players of Nerdeløkka were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals. S. Aulie could've grabbed a goal for Afell 86 minutes in when he got a pass from the left putting him free of the home side's defence, but he was unable to take advantage of the situation. Nerdeløkka claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 52 percent.

Most important Nerdeløkka player was O. Helle. However, A. Hagen made a disastrous appearance. M. Dalby performed admirably for Afell. On the other hand, G. Cerpentier's play was disheartening. The match ends 3 - 0.
