There was concern in the stands when, at the 29 minute mark, Cheltenham's
H. Johansen hit the ground hard, but he refused the attention of the trainer and rejoined his teammates on the pitch.
The crowd was silenced 30 minutes into the match as the visiting team's
J. Rauff came in from the left, levelling the score to 1 - 1.
Loosers had a good opportunity to take the lead as
G. von Campenhausen came up the left side, but he struck the ball weakly and it went straight into the arms of
L. Gülören.
U. Wulffen gave Loosers the lead as he successfully challenged the guests' central defenders, then slotted the ball into the bottom corner, giving the keeper no chance. 2 - 1

F. Hirschbühl.
The Cheltenham captaincy was handed to
K. Reichenberger.
E. Hooson of Cheltenham received a yellow card after 74 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour.
