Dark skies made the crowd of 26077 at Lø Ekkera a little nervous, but the rain held off. Zé Pequeno was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Mario Introddi and Jan-Erik Hagelerberg. A 3-4-3 alignment was the formation of choice for Sørlia. Lineup: Magnussen - Andersson, Gullborg, Haslerud - Ciobanu, McArthur, Auneau, Panzeta - Pinto, Dupuich, Starck.

Legends started off with a 3-5-2 lineup. They fielded: Birkelund - Dahl, Marzadri, Kristiansen - Quintavalla, Jean-Pierre, Jönsson, Torres Moreno, Onitz - Falcone Aniello, Chichigin.

Sørlia used their ability to concentrate their attacks in the middle of the pitch, rather than on the wings. Legends's goal to make the score 0 - 1 came via a questionable penalty, but A. Onitz struck it home without a second thought. With 14 minutes played, after a good run down the left, A. Ciobanu went down looking for a penalty after a challenge from the visitors' right fullback, but the referee waved play on, and later warned him for diving. 19 minutes into the game, Legends worked the left side industriously creating several opportunities to add to their lead, but just couldn't apply the finishing touch. Legends increased their lead after 20 minutes when K. Kristiansen broke through on the right, upping the score to 0 - 2, much to the home crowd's dismay. After this, you could see that the players of Legends were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals. After 24 minutes, Legends's A. Onitz burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 0 - 3. The teams went for the halftime break at 0 - 3. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Sørlia, with 52 percent of the ball.

B. Chichigin's speed was clear to see after 67 minutes, as he darted down the wing and released G. Falcone Aniello who placed the ball into the back of the net to make the score 0 - 4. After 68 minutes, an incisive pass through the middle gave J. Jean-Pierre a chance to increase the lead for Legends, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 0 - 5. Legends's C. Quintavalla had seen it all before, so he waited patiently for the right opportunity. He would get no better chance than the one he took, but his shot was deftly blocked by the keeper. H. Dahl received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 86 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 0 - 6. The Legends fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. A. Ciobanu challenged the visitors' central defence eagerly, producing a good chance 87 minutes into the game as he went for a through ball. But, as so many times before, the guests' defensive efforts got the best of it. Sørlia had most of the ball, with 53 percent of possession.

Sørlia's top performer was clearly J. Dupuich. N. Gullborg on the other hand, had a terrible day. Most important Legends player was G. Falcone Aniello. On the other hand, T. Birkelund's play was disheartening. The match ends 0 - 6.
