The visitors'
J. Michel came close to levelling the score after 13 minutes with a free kick that went just wide of the top left corner.
J. Reunamo's early cross saw the defenders caught out of position and the alert
K. Siepietowski was able to pounce and roll the ball past the hapless goalkeeper to score for Kickers. 1 - 1.
With 38 minutes played, the home side managed to get a 2 - 1 lead as
E. Liberman flipped the ball in after a cross from the right.
W. Osewski of Fosenlaget received a yellow card after 39 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour.
The crowd was silenced 40 minutes into the match as the visiting team's
C. Piñeiro came in from the left, levelling the score to 2 - 2.
When
W. Osewski made yet another studs-first tackle after 41 minutes, the referee was obliged to book the Fosenlaget player for the second time, sending him off the pitch.
T. Nakiboğlu was the unlucky victim and couldn't continue the game, so Kickers's
R. Ladstätter had to come off the bench.
With 44 minutes played
E. Liberman almost gave the home side the lead with an unexpected free kick set up, but the visitors'
T. Caelders was onto it, grabbing the would be breakthrough ball.
The referee showed Fosenlaget's
R. Dunbar the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge.
Unfortunately for Kickers,
E. Neto Ferreira was injured when the game became more physical, and he had to leave the field.

The home crowd was not impressed by the fancy moves of Kickers's
J. Uždavinys after 49 minutes. He converted a pass from the left for a goal, resulting in the visitors taking the 2 - 3 lead.
Having been awarded a free kick in an awkward position after 65 minutes, Kickers did not go for a shot but instead fired the ball hard into the 6 yard box. After a brief tussle with his marker,
K. Siepietowski was able to power the ball past the keeper to make the score 2 - 4.

J. Uždavinys came through the middle and almost added to his team's lead, but the shot went wide.
P. Fashola almost reduced the deficit, having drawn the entire left side defence away, but the shot went straight into the arms of the goalkeeper.
After 77 minutes Fosenlaget's
A. Johnsen contracted a slight foot injury, but didn't want to leave the game.
After 78 minutes,
J. Michel sent the corner kick right to
J. Uždavinys who headed it sharply past the keeper. 2 - 5!
With 80 minutes played, a quick exchange of passes on the left wing freed
J. Michel of Kickers to slip through the defence and score another goal for the visitors. That made the score 2 - 6.
Confident in their lead, Kickers's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it.
Kickers had most of the ball, with 56 percent of possession.

V. Ludvigsen.
N. Killias on the other hand, had a terrible day.
Kickers's best player was
