The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave G. Romeira from BCW a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 50 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! A mistake by the home side's central defence after 83 minutes allowed J. Martinussen to score for Olavs Menn. The scoreboard now read 1 - 2. With 84 minutes played, BCW's G. Scuderi found an opening in the visitors' left side defence, but his shot was handled easily by the keeper. After the ball was lifted in from the left, C. Molgren was on his own in the home side's penalty area and should have scored after 85 minutes, but missed, probably due to lack of concentration. This part of the game was a standoff between the teams in terms of possession.

The most dominating BCW player was without a doubt V. Nakić. However, K. Kupec made a disastrous appearance. Olavs Menn's best player was Å. Ingvaldsen. T. Mikkelsen was a disappointment, however. The match ends 1 - 2.
