The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave J. Aguilar from Farsenal a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 12 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! Farsenal created a good opportunity to score 25 minutes into the match when A. La Placa's hooked ball from the left created a scuffle in front of the goal, and the visitors' defenders had a hard time clearing the ball. 1 - 1 was the halftime score. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Farsenal, with 52 percent of the ball.

As the 60 minute mark approached, the Farsenal coach decided it was time for a substitution. A. La Placa reluctantly made way for W. Kürsener on the pitch. As the captain was no longer on the pitch, W. Kürsener took over the role of being the Farsenal captain. Flemming's M.
