Farsenal 1 - 2 Flemming
(384112642)

16-06-2012 16.00
Dark skies made the crowd of 49202 at
Ashburton Grove a little nervous, but the rain held off.
Vagn Blicher was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Davide Grassi and
Hugo Gaillard.
Farsenal had chosen a strategic 4-5-1 formation.
They fielded: Nerkevičius - Ruel, Abu-Mahmoud, Lahos, Danza - Gileta, Hauge, La Placa, Scocchi, Usman - Aguilar.
Flemming tactics involved an interesting 3-4-3 combination.
The following players took the field: Dereymaeker - Rensen, Toplak, Ritter - Mitzev, Tustervatn, Botten, Bering - Pachev, Avonds, Gregoš.
The wings were the focus of most of Farsenal's attacks today.
A foul after 7 minutes resulted in a free kick.
B. Hauge cannonballed it, giving the home team the lead 1 - 0.
Flemming levelled the score after 10 minutes to make it 1 - 1, as
P. Pachev struck home after a fine midfield combination through the centre, which left him completely unmarked.
The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave
J. Aguilar from Farsenal a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 12 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient!
Farsenal created a good opportunity to score 25 minutes into the match when
A. La Placa's hooked ball from the left created a scuffle in front of the goal, and the visitors' defenders had a hard time clearing the ball.
1 - 1 was the halftime score.
Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Farsenal, with 52 percent of the ball.
As the 60 minute mark approached, the Farsenal coach decided it was time for a substitution.
A. La Placa reluctantly made way for
W. Kürsener on the pitch.
As the captain was no longer on the pitch,
W. Kürsener took over the role of being the Farsenal captain.
Flemming's
M. Tustervatn was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 74 minutes.
Farsenal made a bid to take the lead as a ball coming in on the right hand side left
H. Ruel completely alone with keeper
K. Dereymaeker, who made a spectacular block.
1 - 2 was the score with 78 minutes played, after
P. Pachev cut through the central defence and chipped home a goal for Flemming.
Farsenal's
F. Nerkevičius left the field after 81 minutes because of a nasty blow to the shin. His replacement was
A. Vavik.
Farsenal enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 53 percent of possession.
The most dominating Farsenal player was without a doubt
J. Aguilar.
A. Vavik was a disappointment, however.
Flemming's top performer was clearly
R. Gregoš.
However,
P. Ritter made a disastrous appearance.
The match ends 1 - 2.
