The weather was pretty good, and a crowd of 48995 had shown up at Der Dunkeltanz Amt. Arena for the match. Dunkeltanz took a creative approach on the field. Hitemup were relying on their ability to counter-attack. A questionable penalty 2 minutes in gave the home side the lead, 1 - 0. The visitors' goalie didn't stand a chance as A. Le Metayer knocked the ball home. B. Häggquist made a run for the goal 11 minutes into the game but the home team's left back managed to sort the situation out in the end. W. Toussaint of Dunkeltanz seemed to be floating in the air as he elegantly headed in to make the score 2 - 0 after a corner kick that was nicely executed by A. Le Metayer. After this, you could see that the players of Dunkeltanz were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals. After 36 minutes, T. Auestad made a complete fool of himself when he presented the ball to the feet of J. Gulyás who smashed it into the open goal for Hitemup. 2 - 1. With 37 minutes played, M. Salzgitter could have brought this one home for Dunkeltanz as he charged up on the left, but his hooked ball went just a bit too high. After 39 minutes of play, Dunkeltanz's A. Gang unexpectedly struck an inside out ball from no angle at all and W. Toussaint slotted it into the net for 3 - 1. Dunkeltanz's A. Gang refused to leave the field after injuring his achilles tendon after 44 minutes. 44 minutes into the game, Hitemup had difficulty finding their positions and their organisation dropped to solid. 3 - 1 was the score after the first half. Dunkeltanz enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 86 percent of possession.

A review of the gameplan helped Hitemup get back to a solid organisation when the referee blew his whistle again. Content with how the game was proceeding, the Dunkeltanz coach let P. Bondeli replace G. Ott after 46 minutes. K. Salvesen became the new Dunkeltanz captain. After 48 minutes, a couple of quick and successful challenges followed by a shot from just outside the penalty area by T. Auestad might have resulted in another goal for Dunkeltanz. However, M. Bogdanovski made a spectacular save. 55 minutes into the game, Dunkeltanz were awarded a penalty that A. Le Metayer turned into 4 - 1 without a problem. 58 minutes in, Hitemup appeared unsure on how to play and their organisation was only passable. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave B. Häggquist from Hitemup a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 65 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! A. Le Metayer increased Dunkeltanz's lead to 5 - 1 with a penalty spot cannonball. That made three goals for A. Le Metayer and he was marked down for the hat trick. Dunkeltanz claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 87 percent.

The most dominating Dunkeltanz player was without a doubt W. Toussaint. K. Salvesen turned in a dismal performance, however. Hitemup's best player was B. Häggquist. A. Adams on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 5 - 1.
