After a fine move down the middle A. Cabrobró nearly gave the home side a goal after 7 minutes. However the finishing shot went just wide. Tåfis took the lead 21 minutes into the game by 1 - 0, as T. Figueroa elegantly received a long range pass through the middle, finishing off with a half-volley shot just below the bar. It was 1 - 0 at the break. Tåfis claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 57 percent.

Kolnes's right side looked dangerous 52 minutes in, but G. Depuydt made a good save on S. Hansen's hard shot to the top corner. C. Fjeldberg didn't pace himself at all, and after a series of daring offensive runs he was too tired to help out in the defensive play. T. Figueroa could have increased the lead after 59 minutes, but his shot hit the post after a nice combination in the middle of the park. Tåfis's B. Marot had an excellent opportunity after 72 minutes, shooting after receiving a pass from the right hand side, but he missed the goal by miles! A cross coming in on the right hand side left E. Eitdorf alone in front of the goal after 75 minutes but his shot was woeful. After 80 minutes, a couple of quick and successful challenges followed by a shot from just outside the penalty area by G. Funes might have resulted in another goal for Tåfis. However, R. Tholey made a spectacular save. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Tåfis, with 58 percent of the ball.

The most dominating Tåfis player was without a doubt T. Figueroa. C. Guerreiro was a disappointment, however. Kolnes's best player was S. Hansen. C. Fjeldberg turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 1 - 0.
