Gran who managed a block. The boggy pitch disrupted the game, especially for technical players like F. Koch. Jakobsen took the lead after 23 minutes as a result of F. Koch's peach of a shot from the right hand side of the box - placed beautifully in the top corner. 1 - 0. Against a lesser team, Jakobsen could very well have succeeded with their smart indirect free kick routine after 31 minutes. A trio of passes took the ball all the way past the defenders, but by then the intended recipient was already blocked off and the keeper could make a leisurely save. The visitors' P. Cervantes was alert after a cross coming in from the left, levelling the score at 1 - 1 after 33 minutes. 38 minutes into the game, M. Berg had to leave the pitch due to a knee injury. In came T. Klemetsen. 40 minutes into the game Bartebanden managed a counterattack, but N. Vågeskar took a soft shot from the left flank that was easy prey for the alert keeper. Halftime score was 1 - 1. After 66 minutes of play, F. Koch gave the home team a 2 - 1 lead after an attack coming in from the right. H. Hammer slipped and slithered in the wet grass. His usual rapid runs were nowhere to be seen today. Jakobsen managed to extend their lead to 3 - 1 when S. Wulff cut in neatly from the left side and struck a fine shot past the away team's goalkeeper. Good work by the Bartebanden defensive line after 75 minutes produced a good counterattack chance, which cut elegantly down the middle of the pitch and found C. Svanøe alone in front of the goal, but his shot whistled just wide. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave P. Adolfsson from Jakobsen a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 76 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! Unfortunately for Bartebanden, S. Thorsen was injured when the game became more physical, and he had to leave the field. E. Sverdrup replaced him. 80 minutes in, Jakobsen's D. Hestehauge received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. Bartebanden's D. Pioger went down after a savage challenge, but could continue playing after some medical attention. The referee showed Jakobsen's L. Laugen the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. Bartebanden had to make a substitution after 86 minutes. Y. Bohinen limped off the field and was replaced by P. Eldevik. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Jakobsen, with 53 percent of the ball.
