Weather conditions were fairly good for football, and Chubby Arena saw a crowd turnout of 8703. Moritz Palinger was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Mauro Florian and Walo Schwitter. Donkeys took a creative approach on the field. Fasanfaret were mostly trying to use their skill at attacking on the flanks. Donkeys's R. Berstad was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 25 minutes. With 33 minutes played, seemingly due to lack of experience, E. Sandvær needlessly tripped an opponent just outside the penalty area, but the free kick that followed didn't succeed. 35 minutes into the game, a swerving free kick by A. Brandt almost resulted in the home team taking the lead, but the shot glanced harmlessly off the frame of the goal. Some quick footwork on the left side of the field 35 minutes into the match left Fasanfaret's M. Hjortkvist completely free to score. 0 - 1 for the visitors. The referee showed Fasanfaret's D. Ljosdahl the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. W. Ruud was the unlucky victim and couldn't continue the game, so Donkeys's J. Molina had to come off the bench. B. Robertsen was the new captain of Donkeys - handed the armband by the departing player. A drive down the left side allowed D. Šarić to get in close and score another goal for Fasanfaret after 39 minutes, taking the score to 0 - 2. With the clock showing 41 minutes played, a great pass from the defensive line of Fasanfaret resulted in a counterattack that was smoothly brought under control by T. Vik in the centre of the opposition's penalty area, but his finish went high. The teams went for the halftime break at 0 - 2. Neither team were able to dominate possession this half.

It was obvious that Fasanfaret had instructions to attack on the wings instead of in the middle. Coming in from the right, Fasanfaret had a good opportunity to convert on a counterattack after 57 minutes, but D. Ljosdahl's attempt to finish was easily stopped. With 61 minutes played, G. Roshan of Donkeys fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving. Attacking on the wings was the choice for Fasanfaret, and they were successfully passing the ball from the middle to the wings to attack. 62 minutes into the match, the visitors put themselves ahead 0 - 3 as M. Chávarri finished off an attack from the left with a spectacular scissors kick. 78 minutes into the match, M. Aasebø came through the middle and almost added to his team's lead, but the shot went wide. After 80 minutes Donkeys's M. Pedersen contracted a slight foot injury, but didn't want to leave the game. Donkeys's E. Sandvær managed a superb strike from the left after 85 minutes that would have left goalkeeper T. Kildahl without a chance, had it not hit the post. J. Monteiro Pereira stunned the crowd with a brilliant counterattack from the left, giving Fasanfaret the goal to make it 0 - 4. Confident in their lead, Fasanfaret's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. Possession in this half belonged to Donkeys, who controlled the ball 53 percent of the time.

A. Brandt performed admirably for Donkeys. K. Kvinnesland on the other hand, had a terrible day. Most important Fasanfaret player was D. Šarić. T. Hermansen was a disappointment, however. The match ends 0 - 4.
