DBFC 7 - 1 Fjell
(384172041)

18-08-2012 16.00
The weather was pretty good, and a crowd of 33925 had shown up at
Theatre of Dreams for the match.
Guillermo López Soto was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Mattia Menichetti and
Hermann Mathes-Schmidt.
A 5-4-1 alignment was the formation of choice for DBFC.
Starters: Santi - Klemet, Abajo, Kosznik, Hasselborn, Öngü - Foler, Détári, De Bernardo, Andersen - Pushparaj.
Fjell tactics involved an interesting 4-4-2 combination.
The following players took the field: Skogstad - Langholm, Strømsvåg, Bakken, Rismo - Wiggen, Säfbeck, Heggem, Olaisen - Bugge, Kristiansen.
After 10 minutes, DBFC sent a free kick in high over the penalty box. In what looked like a well-rehearsed move, the ball was headed backwards and reached
S. Foler, who had plenty of space to place a well aimed shot - 1 - 0.
H. Heggem received some harsh words from his coach after he acted foolishly 20 minutes into the match, probably out of lack of experience, and almost let an opponent score.
DBFC put themselves up 2 - 0 when
T. Andersen broke through on the right, leaving the entire defence trailing in his wake.
The home crowd was silenced as
Y. Langholm took a successful penalty shot 22 minutes into the game, reducing the home lead to 2 - 1.
Fjell's
A. Säfbeck got himself booked for a foul.
After 35 minutes,
D. Kosznik put DBFC ahead 3 - 1 when he rose to head in a cross from the right wing.
Confident in their lead, DBFC's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it.
Coming from the right,
U. Klemet almost managed to score another goal for DBFC, but his header was tipped over the bar by the visitors' keeper.
It was 3 - 1 at the break.
DBFC had most of the ball, with 84 percent of possession.
With 66 minutes gone, DBFC had a free kick in a decent position. Despite this being a great chance for a shot, they tried a cheeky move intended to bypass the defence. However,
U. Klemet did not manage to connect with it cleanly and the ball went out.
After 71 minutes, the away team failed to deal with a good exchange of passes on the right, and
S. Foler gave the DBFC supporters even more to cheer about when he increased the lead to 4 - 1.
Things were deteriorating for the away team as DBFC scored another to make it 5 - 1 after a left side attack resulted in a goal for
J. Abajo after 74 minutes.
Things were going to get worse for the visitors.
D. Pushparaj squirmed through their central defence after 77 minutes, increasing the lead to 6 - 1.
A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in DBFC's
S. Foler increasing the lead to 7 - 1.
At that,
S. Foler was noted down for a hat trick!
Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by DBFC, with 86 percent of the ball.
The most dominating DBFC player was without a doubt
S. Foler.
D. Pushparaj on the other hand, had a terrible day.
Most important Fjell player was
A. Säfbeck.
C. Olaisen turned in a dismal performance, however.
The match ends 7 - 1.
