Fairly good weather for football had drawn a crowd of 12800 to
gfield.
Yiannakis Afridis was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Werner Putek and
Caius Ionescu.
Hentriso tactics involved an interesting 4-4-2 combination.
They fielded: Grongstad - Nordeide, Stadheim, Melting, Søreng - Jensen, Vasset, Berekvam, Sørlie - Wahl, Johansson.
Jensen started off with a 4-4-2 lineup.
The following players took the field: Bjørnsen - Gerhardsen, Auestad, Eide, Bell - Thoen, Kanck, Johansen, Strand - Huseklepp, Nermark.
The unexpected cross pass from Hentriso's
B. Johansson after 21 minutes opened up the defence and was received by
M. Sørlie who finished off for 1 - 0.
After 32 minutes, the away team failed to deal with a good exchange of passes on the right, and
K. Stadheim gave the Hentriso supporters even more to cheer about when he increased the lead to 2 - 0.
The players of Hentriso now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle.
The guests got an opportunity to reduce after 33 minutes and
R. Gerhardsen took it from the penalty spot, scoring easily for 2 - 1.
After several obvious shirt pulling incidents,
S. Vasset got himself booked. The manager of Hentriso was not happy.
Some brilliant football from the visitors' right wing resulted in a levelling of the score as Jensen's
Ø. Nermark put the ball in the onion bag after 37 minutes to make it 2 - 2.
2 - 2 was the score after the first half.
Jensen enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 52 percent of possession.
Jensen's
R. Gerhardsen could have put the guests one up after 50 minutes after chasing a through ball from the right, but
F. Grongstad was as fast as a snake, grabbing the ball from under his nose.
Ø. Nermark hit the corner kick straight to the keeper, but it was mishandled, giving Jensen's
K. Auestad an easy chance to knock it in for 2 - 3.
The crowd chanted their encouragement as Hentriso's
B. Johansson came in from the right after 62 minutes and put the ball in the net to level the score at 3 - 3.
63 minutes into the match and the home team took a 4 - 3 lead after breaking through on the left. The scorer for Hentriso was
M. Sørlie.
Jensen had most of the ball, with 53 percent of possession.
Hentriso's top performer was clearly
H. Wahl.
F. Grongstad was a disappointment, however.
The most dominating Jensen player was without a doubt
O. Thoen.
However,
L. Bjørnsen made a disastrous appearance.
The match ends 4 - 3.
