Everyone was excited about the upcoming
Highlands and Islands derby and the crowd was divided evenly.
Rage tactics involved an interesting 4-4-2 combination.
They fielded: Vučetić - Parashchenko, Steinwender, Guillemota, Zanzutti - Savu, Nevbahar, Rubagotti, Escher - Özal, van Hanegem.
Lochaline decided to use a 5-3-2 set up.
The following players took the field: Janes - Hayler, Bowman, Tapia Cabezón, Gil Ferreira, Borisch - Cortese, Pettersson, Johnston - Amichai, Stawny.
Rage saw most attack opportunities on the wings.
Lochaline focused on getting players in position for long range shots.
C. Escher neatly controlled the ball after a short corner, and knocked it on to
P. Steinwender who had the whole net open before him, but only managed to hit the post.
27 minutes into the match and the home team took a 1 - 0 lead after breaking through on the left. The scorer for Rage was

A well placed corner kick from
V. Parashchenko was followed by
D. Zanzutti's hard but accurate header. The well executed routine resulted in a goal for Rage, the score now 2 - 0.
Things were deteriorating for the away team as Rage scored another to make it 3 - 0 after a left side attack resulted in a goal for
S. van Hanegem after 33 minutes.
Confident in their lead, Rage's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it.
After 37 minutes Lochaline showed the crowd a glorious passing play which put
I. Amichai in a perfect shooting position. His low hard shot was just as glorious, placed just inside the keeper's right post making it 3 - 1.
It was 3 - 1 at the break.
Rage had most of the ball, with 64 percent of possession.
P. Steinwender wanted to play on, but the Rage coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 65 minutes into the game by
F. Pautrot.
I. Vučetić was the new captain of Rage - handed the armband by the departing player.
Things were going to get worse for the visitors.
S. van Hanegem squirmed through their central defence after 70 minutes, increasing the lead to 4 - 1.
That made three goals for
S. van Hanegem and he was marked down for the hat trick.
Coming from the right,
B. Özal almost managed to score another goal for Rage, but his header was tipped over the bar by the visitors' keeper.
Lochaline's
A. Hayler was shown a yellow card after 82 minutes for slicing down an opponent.
87 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as
V. Rubagotti broke through, making the score 5 - 1 for Rage.
I. Vučetić left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 89 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead.
B. Clarkson was the replacement.
As the captain was no longer on the pitch,
V. Parashchenko took over the role of being the Rage captain.
Rage enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 65 percent of possession.
Rage's best player was

However,
B. Clarkson made a disastrous appearance.
Most important Lochaline player was
V. Borisch.
G. Johnston on the other hand, had a terrible day.
