After 2 minutes, MiLo were awarded a free kick. Rather than shooting straight at goal, the taker went for an indirect variant which seemed to take his team mates a bit by surprise. A. Lanssens did attempt a finish, but from an awkward position, sending the ball into the away fans. After 3 minutes, the defensive line of Revolucion created a counterattack through the middle that gave C. Colvin a good look at the goal, but his shot glanced harmlessly off the crossbar. A mistake by the home side's central defence after 15 minutes allowed A. Knighton to score for MiLo. The scoreboard now read 0 - 1. J. Hansson came close to extending the visitors' lead when he found himself completely unmarked in front of the goal after a pass through the middle. He tried to lift the ball over E. Rathie but overcooked it and hit the bar instead. 31 minutes into the match, the visitors put themselves ahead 0 - 2 as S. Agnew finished off an attack from the left with a spectacular scissors kick. S. Agnew received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 39 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 0 - 3. The MiLo fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. Halftime score was 0 - 3. MiLo enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 83 percent of possession.

The home crowd was not impressed when A. Lanssens came in from the right, shooting hard to score after 53 minutes. MiLo were now up 0 - 4. After 62 minutes, MiLo sent a free kick in high over the penalty box. In what looked like a well-rehearsed move, the ball was headed backwards and reached A. Knighton, who had plenty of space to place a well aimed shot - 0 - 5. After this, you could see that the players of MiLo were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals. A drive down the left side allowed A. Çağkan to get in close and score another goal for MiLo after 63 minutes, taking the score to 0 - 6. H. Piron was called on to replace MiLo's R. Arozena after 66 minutes following a nasty collision. J. Hansson of MiLo took advantage of a mistake on the home side's right after 70 minutes which increased the away team's lead to 0 - 7. MiLo increased their lead after 73 minutes when H. Piron broke through on the right, upping the score to 0 - 8, much to the home crowd's dismay. MiLo had most of the ball, with 86 percent of possession.

Most important Revolucion player was E. McKellar. C. Colvin was a disappointment, however. MiLo's best player was Z. Do Sil. V. Nicolescu on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 0 - 8.
