(384281534)

28-07-2012 18.00
It was an exceptionally sunny day for the crowd of 57270 that came out to
Arena "Auf Koelsch".
Falko Knizat was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Albino Berguecio and
Maxime Lebailly.
Koelsch started off with a 3-5-2 lineup.
The following players took the field: Haunzwickl - Dernoncourt, Challier, Lehuède - Queirós, Wulfsdorf, Bullerdieck, Habl, Gren - Sayavera, Böttche.
Eintracht tactics involved an interesting 3-5-2 combination.
The following players had been chosen: Herbrich - Paulsen, Duckworth, Voicu - Koefod, Paspalakis, Gleitberg, Lutgen, Hjertborg - Aydıntuğ, de Hooge.
Koelsch mounted an inspired counterattack down the right wing after 15 minutes, but
F. Gren was unable to convert from short range.
Eintracht's
D. Aydıntuğ managed to lose the defenders as he advanced down the right wing and scored, putting the visitors ahead after 30 minutes. 0 - 1.
Speedy
J. Queirós tried one of his patented rushes 33 minutes into the game, but
O. Voicu was just as fast and averted the attack.
Koelsch's
M. Challier was shown a yellow card after 40 minutes for slicing down an opponent.
M. Hjertborg of Eintracht had to be helped off the pitch as an injury meant he was unable to finish the game.
F. Tolu came in to finish the match.
Koelsch tried to even things up by sending a long ball towards the centrally placed strikers, but the visitors' defence got the best of this rather direct style of play.
Halftime score was 0 - 1.
Koelsch enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 53 percent of possession.
H. Bullerdieck sailed high above the opponents as he headed in a corner kick from
H. Habl after 66 minutes of play, making the score 1 - 1.
H. Bullerdieck caused the crowd to go mental with his goal up the middle after 67 minutes. This gave Koelsch the 2 - 1 lead.
After 69 minutes,
M. Challier put Koelsch ahead 3 - 1 when he rose to head in a cross from the right wing.
Several players seemed a little dazed by the warm weather, and were repeatedly tricked by the clever and agile
Y. de Hooge.
Koelsch claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 52 percent.
Koelsch's top performer was clearly
T. Böttche.
On the other hand,
F. Gren's play was disheartening.
Most important Eintracht player was
D. Aydıntuğ.
F. Tolu turned in a dismal performance, however.
The match ends 3 - 1.
