Albeiros, his movements were so smooth. Unfortunately for Fortuna, his finish ended up on the wrong side of the post. L. Wahrmann finished off a quick charge from the left of the field by chipping the ball just past the home side's keeper, making the score 1 - 1 13 minutes into the match. Many thought H. Leyendeker ought to have been awarded a penalty 22 minutes into the game, as he went down trying to dribble around N. Kopelis after a determined run through the middle. Slack defending gave Zweitorsten a chance to take the lead with 33 minutes played, but E. Walpershofen's cross from the left flank was fumbled in front of the goal and easily dealt with by the opposition. It was 1 - 1 at the break. Zweitorsten enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 52 percent of possession.

The intense heat forced E. Walpershofen into making some errors because he couldn't seem to keep up with the others. After 65 minutes, the Fortuna coach wanted to see a new face on the pitch, waving S. Macolino off the field. L. Bautista took his place. K. Danilovich would have preferred to play on, but his coach decided otherwise. R. Neurath entered the game for Fortuna as the match clock showed 75 minutes. Fortuna took the lead 78 minutes into the game, making the score 1 - 2 after some elegant movement down the middle. M. Leong Qiang was the scorer. No matter how hard he tried, J. Veen just couldn't get his shot past the visitors' right side defence after 84 minutes. L. Festa made a nice dash down the wing after 88 minutes, but was unable to get the cross into the box. A goal kick was awarded. With 88 minutes played, Zweitorsten's C. Depraetere found an opening in the visitors' left side defence, but his shot was handled easily by the keeper. This part of the game was a standoff between the teams in terms of possession.

The most dominating Zweitorsten player was without a doubt E. Walpershofen. However, H. Persson made a disastrous appearance. Fortuna's best player was D. Benschop. On the other hand, H. Rul's play was disheartening. The match ends 1 - 2.
