A counterattack by Gurkentruppe2004 after 5 minutes could have resulted in a goal, but P. Bergrath, coming in on the left, couldn't get the shot off. Slack defending gave Schiefbahn a chance to take the lead with 14 minutes played, but W. Mach's cross from the left flank was fumbled in front of the goal and easily dealt with by the opposition. D. Schneglberger's speed is always a threat when he gets a little room to move, and 17 minutes into the match was no different as he broke free of his man to send a delightful through ball to D. Kalbach who knocked it in for Schiefbahn. 1 - 0! Schiefbahn's W. Mach refused to leave the field after injuring his achilles tendon after 37 minutes. Things were deteriorating for the away team as Schiefbahn scored another to make it 2 - 0 after a left side attack resulted in a goal for D. Schneglberger after 40 minutes. Halftime score was 2 - 0. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Schiefbahn, with 59 percent of the ball.

A speedy charge from the left side of the field increased the lead of Schiefbahn to 3 - 0 as D. Schneglberger finished it off competently, firing in from an acute angle. Content with how the game was proceeding, the Schiefbahn coach let A. Gebenus replace B. Marin after 60 minutes. Given a free kick close to the byline, Schiefbahn tried a move that loyal fans may recognise from training. A pass to the side pulled the defence out of position which let H. Schüßler slip through on goal. He didn't have to break his stride, and slipped the ball past the keeper to make it 4 - 0, 67 minutes into the game. Schiefbahn's A. Berschweiler made use of his speed to get free of the defence, but he still couldn't get a shot off 72 minutes into the match. Schiefbahn's T. Fliegen had an excellent opportunity after 80 minutes, shooting after receiving a pass from the right hand side, but he missed the goal by miles! Schiefbahn claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 60 percent.

Schiefbahn's top performer was clearly D. Kalbach. A. Berschweiler turned in a dismal performance, however. Most important Gurkentruppe2004 player was M. Annunziato. However, G. Ferg made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 4 - 0.
