38724 punters turned up at
Blutacker, and despite threatening clouds on the horizon, no rain came.
Zdravko Pantov was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Ludovic Savigny and
Paavo Vätti.
Erna tactics involved an interesting 3-5-2 combination.
The following players had been chosen: Savignac - Uexküll, Cornado, Bergdoll - Castek, Duffy, Pischinger, Sutterlitte, Kaefer - Matocha, Rafanelli.
SGDynamo had chosen a strategic 3-5-2 formation.
Lineup: Lübbecke - Thurn, Haydn, Faltinger - Scortechini, Kaube, Drescher, Degrande, Stvolov - Resel, Jung.
8 minutes into the match and the home team took a 1 - 0 lead after breaking through on the left. The scorer for Erna was
L. Rafanelli.
Cheers filled the stadium as
L. Rafanelli broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the ball to increase the lead to 2 - 0 to Erna.
The coach of Erna was happy with the game so far, but still wanted to change the line up. After 32 minutes,
L. Lloret came on for
T. Duffy.
The Erna captaincy was handed to
L. Rafanelli.
Erna managed to extend their lead to 3 - 0 when
J. Castek cut in neatly from the left side and struck a fine shot past the away team's goalkeeper.
The Erna players could smell victory in the air.
J. Sutterlitte wasn't in a hurry to leave the field as he was substituted for
H. Lüttichau after 35 minutes.
36 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as
B. Bergdoll broke through, making the score 4 - 0 for Erna.
After 39 minutes Erna's
L. Savignac limped slightly after a late challenge, but he was able to continue.
It was 4 - 0 at the break.

At that,
L. Rafanelli was noted down for a hat trick!
After 62 minutes, the away team failed to deal with a good exchange of passes on the right, and
L. Rafanelli gave the Erna supporters even more to cheer about when he increased the lead to 7 - 0.
With 69 minutes played, seemingly due to lack of experience,
H. Lüttichau needlessly tripped an opponent just outside the penalty area, but the free kick that followed didn't succeed.
Erna solidified their lead at the 75 minute mark, as
L. Rafanelli dribbled the ball through the opposing central defence and scored to make it 8 - 0.
With 88 minutes played,
K. Kaefer could have brought this one home for Erna as he charged up on the left, but his hooked ball went just a bit too high.
Erna claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 78 percent.
Most important Erna player was
L. Rafanelli.
However,
K. Kaefer made a disastrous appearance.
