Manesis, making a fantastic play that nearly had Weisse take the lead after 34 minutes, but G. Maat preserved the tie. Some great play up the middle by Sportfreunde led to a chance for M. Koskull to score after 38 minutes, but the shot hit the crossbar. 0 - 0 was the halftime score. Sportfreunde enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 52 percent of possession.

This was a good period for the visitors, with several opportunities to take the lead, particularly when S. Santilhana slipped through the defence on the right to come up alone against G. Maat, but the home side's keeper showed his lightning reflexes. Sportfreunde's M. Koskull tried to break through in the middle repeatedly, but couldn't get past the visitors' defenders. Weisse's P. Geiberger managed to lose the defenders as he advanced down the right wing and scored, putting the visitors ahead after 79 minutes. 0 - 1. With 81 minutes played, a quick exchange of passes on the left wing freed P. Geiberger of Weisse to slip through the defence and score another goal for the visitors. That made the score 0 - 2. Sportfreunde's A. Saga found himself alone on the left side 83 minutes into the match and laid down a perfect shot - right into the arms of the keeper! With 84 minutes played, J. Nordkvist nearly put the visitors another one up as he broke through in the middle and fired from just outside the box, but his shot passed just over the bar. Possession in this half belonged to Sportfreunde, who controlled the ball 51 percent of the time.
