Weather conditions were fairly good for football, and
"Dellplatz" im Dellviertel saw a crowd turnout of 36998.
Jos Miellet was the appointed referee with assistance provided by

The visitors' central defence should have had no trouble clearing the pass to
H. Fewer, but the Sockenföhner player managed to shrug them off and fired a low shot past the keeper to give his team the lead. 2 - 1!
O. Zarić unleashed a swerving effort from the right that the visitors' keeper did well to tip wide.
Cheers filled the stadium as
J. Unold broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the ball to increase the lead to 3 - 1 to Sockenföhner.
3 - 1 was the halftime score.
Sockenföhner enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 62 percent of possession.
The Sockenföhner coach was visibly pleased with the score so far, but still ordered a few tactical changes 46 minutes into the game.
In an effort to secure the lead, Sockenföhner changed their tactic after 46 minutes.
Sockenföhner increased the lead as
D. Offer struck to make the score 4 - 1 after an attack from the left left him unmarked in front of the keeper.
Although the whole team were struggling to impress, Munich's
D. Gemoets was singled out as being the problem as he was called off the pitch after 53 minutes.
H. Milkau was given a chance to change things around.
By now, the players in Sockenföhner felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward.
In the lead, Sockenföhner adjusted their style of play with 60 minutes gone.
After 60 minutes, the Sockenföhner players received new instructions from their manager on how to keep in control of the game.

G. Engibarov was a disappointment, however.
M. Petersen performed admirably for Munich.
On the other hand,
H. Milkau's play was disheartening.
