Biesdorfer 5 - 0 Pauli
(384289470)

07-07-2012 18.00
Overcast weather free of rain made for a crowd turnout of 30488 at
Biesdorfer FC Kessel today.
Baldemar Dreyß was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Artur Vaheri and
Gisbert Voermans.
Biesdorfer had chosen a strategic 3-5-2 formation.
Lineup: Sarnataro - Buffon, Majava, Astazi - Sas, Ziederer, Lala, Metschke, Droszczak - Jõe, Valdman.
Pauli started off with a 3-5-2 lineup.
The following players had been chosen: Prokipčák - Erlmann, De Grandi, Kipp - Stern, Hoeland, Bennigsen, Bensheim, Wallenreiter - Axmann, Babîlungă.
After 21 minutes, Biesdorfer sent a free kick in high over the penalty box. In what looked like a well-rehearsed move, the ball was headed backwards and reached
R. Jõe, who had plenty of space to place a well aimed shot - 1 - 0.
The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave
M. Bennigsen from Pauli a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 32 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient!
A speedy charge from the left side of the field increased the lead of Biesdorfer to 2 - 0 as
F. Droszczak finished it off competently, firing in from an acute angle.
Pauli breathed new life into the game with an opportunity to reduce the score after 37 minutes, but the home side's defenders cleared the ball on the line, after a long shot coming in from the left rebounded off the crossbar.
2 - 0 was the halftime score.
Biesdorfer enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 59 percent of possession.
Biesdorfer increased the lead as
S. Lala struck to make the score 3 - 0 after an attack from the left left him unmarked in front of the keeper.
After a short break after 55 minutes, Biesdorfer seemed to change their tactical approach a bit.
With 61 minutes played, Biesdorfer put themselves up 4 - 0 when the visiting defenders lost the ball to
J. Sas, who came up from the left and proceeded to coolly round the keeper and knock the ball home.
Confident in their lead, Biesdorfer's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it.
The referee showed Pauli's
G. Babîlungă the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge.
G. Buffon of Biesdorfer had to be helped off the pitch as an injury meant he was unable to finish the game.
B. Jasper came in to finish the match.
D. Astazi became the new Biesdorfer captain.
Things were deteriorating for the away team as Biesdorfer scored another to make it 5 - 0 after a left side attack resulted in a goal for
M. Majava after 79 minutes.
Possession in this half belonged to Biesdorfer, who controlled the ball 58 percent of the time.
Biesdorfer's top performer was clearly
R. Jõe.
On the other hand,
B. Jasper's play was disheartening.
Most important Pauli player was
G. Axmann.
S. Erlmann turned in a dismal performance, however.
The match ends 5 - 0.
