Weather conditions were fairly good for football, and La Masía saw a crowd turnout of 38643. Silvestre Varela was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Bogomir Mucelj and Agustin Salido. Gangbang focused on getting players in position for long range shots. Augrauba's J. Vihonen was shown a yellow card after 20 minutes for slicing down an opponent. G. Zuricaray stunned the crowd with a brilliant counterattack from the left, giving Gangbang the goal to make it 1 - 0. It was obvious that Gangbang set up their play to get a shooter in position, and after 30 minutes they succeeded with their tactics when B. Lastovkin found a hole in the defence and his long shot left the keeper without a chance. 2 - 0. The teams went for the halftime break at 2 - 0. Neither team were able to dominate possession this half.

Although the whole team were struggling to impress, Augrauba's J. Eilersen was singled out as being the problem as he was called off the pitch after 46 minutes. J. Lettrich was given a chance to change things around. The visitors replied 50 minutes into the game, reducing the home side's lead to 2 - 1, as R. Kallert dashed up the middle, easily lobbing the ball over the home team's keeper. 60 minutes into the match A. Haga put Gangbang ahead 3 - 1 with a truly marvelous free kick. The players of Gangbang now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle. C. Tandler could have put Gangbang up one more, but he fired into the side netting after breaking free on the left after 68 minutes. With 81 minutes played, A. Haga could have brought this one home for Gangbang as he charged up on the left, but his hooked ball went just a bit too high. Gangbang enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 52 percent of possession.

Most important Gangbang player was G. Zuricaray. I. Schrey was a disappointment, however. The most dominating Augrauba player was without a doubt S. Boxleitner. J. Lettrich turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 3 - 1.
