They were singing the praises of E. Kalinchev 47 minutes into the match after his speculative chip from the middle of the penalty box found its way over the visitors' keeper to make the score 2 - 1 to Pudding. The Süddeutsche coach was desperate to reverse his team's fortunes in the game, and ordered his team to change strategy. J. Dietlinde did not have a good day today, often losing his footing on the muddy pitch. Pezzuto made a spectacular save. A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in Pudding's G. Mulloni increasing the lead to 3 - 1. After 86 minutes, G. Mulloni put Pudding ahead 4 - 1 when he rose to head in a cross from the right wing. The players of Pudding now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle. Pudding's L. Alexandersson had an excellent opportunity after 87 minutes, shooting after receiving a pass from the right hand side, but he missed the goal by miles! Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Pudding, with 55 percent of the ball.

Pudding's top performer was clearly G. Mulloni. On the other hand, J. Moll Durelli's play was disheartening. Most important Süddeutsche player was V. Morlock. E. Rendsburg turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 4 - 1.
