(384298780)

04-08-2012 18.00
It had rained all day, but 30027 hardy fans still made it out to
ULMER MÜNSTER OVAL.
Rasheed Ibn-Amal was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Fredrik Rothstedt and
Fabien Panetier.
INKASSO had chosen a strategic 3-5-2 formation.
The following players took the field: Stackelberg - Zorbach, Sperer, Bucur - Aubrey, Tuğbay, Sayrı, Bulkow, Gagna - Waeleman, Salskov.
A 3-5-2 alignment was the formation of choice for LB.
The following players had been chosen: Dominić - Lamas, Mößlein, Errygers - Kimbern, Uhler, Boni, Lindholm, Zemanek - Szych, Kapałka.
D. Lamas slipped and slithered in the wet grass. His usual rapid runs were nowhere to be seen today.
F. Tuğbay caused the crowd to go mental with his goal up the middle after 22 minutes. This gave INKASSO the 1 - 0 lead.
After 23 minutes, LB used a short break in the game to take new instructions from their coach.
In a rapid move 28 minutes into the match,
M. Gagna of INKASSO lost his man and passed the ball to the unmarked
G. Waeleman who easily hit it home to make it 2 - 0. Luckily the ref didn't see him taunting the opposing fans in celebration - naughty boy!
With 28 minutes played, the LB coach decided a substitution may help turn the game around.
B. Bošković came on,
U. Kimbern had to leave the fray.
The LB players listened closely to their manager, as he gave new tactical instructions for the team.
The players of INKASSO now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle.
The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave
B. Salskov from INKASSO a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 36 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient!
M. Gagna could have increased the lead after 39 minutes, but his shot hit the post after a nice combination in the middle of the park.
It was 2 - 0 at the break.
INKASSO had most of the ball, with 52 percent of possession.
After 48 minutes, the defensive line of LB created a counterattack through the middle that gave
M. Errygers a good look at the goal, but his shot glanced harmlessly off the crossbar.
Things were deteriorating for the away team as INKASSO scored another to make it 3 - 0 after a left side attack resulted in a goal for
A. Aubrey after 53 minutes.
Content with how the game was proceeding, the INKASSO coach let
E. Wengbauer replace
B. Sayrı after 60 minutes.
LB's
D. Lamas got himself booked for a foul.
A. Aubrey wanted to play on, but the INKASSO coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 70 minutes into the game by
B. Kouwenaar.
The INKASSO players could smell victory in the air.
G. Waeleman wasn't in a hurry to leave the field as he was substituted for
J. Brunauer after 70 minutes.
An accurate cross from
M. Gagna of INKASSO was met with a wonderful glancing header from
B. Salskov, hitting the inside base of the post before nestling into the back of the net for 4 - 0.
Ater 74 minutes
M. Zemanek seized on an opportunistic attack from the right, and scored for LB making it 4 - 1.
INKASSO enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 52 percent of possession.
INKASSO's top performer was clearly
J. Bulkow.
B. Kouwenaar was a disappointment, however.
A. Szych performed admirably for LB.
However,
D. Lamas made a disastrous appearance.
The match ends 4 - 1.
