25-08-2012 18.00
A scorching day at
Fight Station Dresden, where 27555 spectators were in place for today's match.
Brodeigh Hare was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Harold Doughty and
Momme Bodenschatz.
SGD decided to use a 3-5-2 set up.
They fielded: Zūbis - Lenhardt, Biloglav, Čolaković - Värtö, Rebolledo, Rellis, Chagot, Jung - Pernecker, Gülen.
INKASSO tactics involved an interesting 3-5-2 combination.
The following players had been chosen: Stackelberg - Zorbach, Sperer, Bucur - Kouwenaar, Tuğbay, Bulkow, Sayrı, Gagna - Brunauer, Salskov.
SGD demonstrated their creative tactics on the field.
They were singing the praises of
O. Lenhardt 6 minutes into the match after his speculative chip from the middle of the penalty box found its way over the visitors' keeper to make the score 1 - 0 to SGD.
SGD put in a good effort on the right, but
M. Rebolledo saw his volley fly wide of the mark 21 minutes into the game.
N. Jung enjoyed the sunshine and demonstrated his stunning technique over and over again.
Coming from the right,
D. Chagot almost managed to score another goal for SGD, but his header was tipped over the bar by the visitors' keeper.
1 - 0 was the halftime score.
SGD enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 62 percent of possession.
It wasn't a good day at all for
J. Bulkow. His powerful style of play just didn't fit the bill on this warm day.
The bench was restless, and with 60 minutes passed INKASSO's coach gave
E. Wengbauer the opportunity the player had been hoping for.
J. Bulkow reluctantly left the field.
INKASSO needed a fresh pair of legs on the field, and after 70 minutes
B. Kouwenaar made way for
A. Aubrey.
With 70 minutes played, the INKASSO coach decided a substitution may help turn the game around.
H. Zuylen came on,
B. Sayrı had to leave the fray.
A lot of people in the terraces claimed the penalty resulting in INKASSO's
M. Gagna equaliser for 1 - 1 was a mistake by the referee. He did, however, have a very good view of the situation from his position.
Some great play up the middle by SGD led to a chance for
İ. Gülen to score after 73 minutes, but the shot hit the crossbar.
J. Brunauer of INKASSO was able to make an impressive rush past the sluggish
M. Biloglav, which resulted in a goal making the score 1 - 2.
H. Zuylen sailed high above the opponents as he headed in a corner kick from
M. Gagna after 84 minutes of play, making the score 1 - 3.
A misunderstanding between the visitors' keeper
A. Stackelberg and his left defence could have resulted in a goal for SGD, but
M. Rebolledo's finish was way too lame.
SGD's
O. Lenhardt was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 86 minutes.
87 minutes into the game SGD broke through on the left wing and
İ. Gülen managed to reduce the lead to 2 - 3.
No matter how hard he tried,
İ. Gülen just couldn't get his shot past the visitors' right side defence after 87 minutes.
SGD had most of the ball, with 61 percent of possession.
D. Chagot performed admirably for SGD.
M. Zūbis on the other hand, had a terrible day.
Most important INKASSO player was
F. Tuğbay.
A. Aubrey was a disappointment, however.
The match ends 2 - 3.
