Zatoń elegantly received a long range pass through the middle, finishing off with a half-volley shot just below the bar. A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in Team's M. Omino increasing the lead to 2 - 0. Confident in their lead, Team's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. Cheers filled the stadium as P. Sarafidis broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the ball to increase the lead to 3 - 0 to Team. Team's K. Jensen saw his fine effort strike the top of the bar following some good work up the middle by his teammates after 34 minutes. F. Urrejola of Team was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle. Team solidified their lead at the 41 minute mark, as A. Siller dribbled the ball through the opposing central defence and scored to make it 4 - 0. Halftime score was 4 - 0. Team enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 76 percent of possession.

61 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as G. Herrath-Böttger broke through, making the score 5 - 0 for Team. Things were going to get worse for the visitors. P. Sarafidis squirmed through their central defence after 65 minutes, increasing the lead to 6 - 0. After 72 minutes, the away team failed to deal with a good exchange of passes on the right, and M. Omino gave the Team supporters even more to cheer about when he increased the lead to 7 - 0. Team increased the lead as G. Herrath-Böttger struck to make the score 8 - 0 after an attack from the left left him unmarked in front of the keeper. 82 minutes in, Team's J. Ligendza received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. Stören's T. Oberarzbacher went down after a savage challenge, but could continue playing after some medical attention. Team managed to extend their lead to 9 - 0 when M. Bangeter cut in neatly from the left side and struck a fine shot past the away team's goalkeeper. Team had most of the ball, with 77 percent of possession.

Team's best player was M. Omino. However, F. Mămăligă made a disastrous appearance. Stören's top performer was clearly F. Comello. M. Neisius turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 9 - 0.
